Roy Chantrell

Prof. Chantrell is Professor Emeritus at the University of York. His work in magnetic hyperthermia arose from a general interest in nanoparticle magnetism, applying the kinetic Monte Carlo model to the properties of interacting spin systems.

He has also been involved with the development of atomistic spin models for application in information storage materials and ultrafast magnetism.
